Music theory can feel really complicated and confusing, particularly if you have a neurodiverse brain. These pages aim to make music theory easier to read and understand for everyone! 

 

This section of the website is a work in progress and new content will be added regularly. Please join the mailing list to keep updated! 

Dyslexia Friendly Music Theory Resources 

These free music theory resources have been designed to be dyslexia and Irlen Syndrome friendly! The pdf files for most of the resources contains pages in the 10 Irlen colour shades. The pdf also includes a printable black and white page and a multicolour version aimed to help with tracking.

Easy piano scales chart  

Shows the major and harmonic minor scales in all 12 keys with finger makings and letter notes

Natural, harmonic and melodic minor scales over one octave in 12 keys (black & white only)

KEY CHARTS

 A downloadable chart for each of the 12 keys to support arranging, accompanying, improvisation and composition. The notes and chords of the major scale, along with the notes and chords of its relative minor. Includes harmonic, natural, and melodic minor scales.
